Meet Kuoraf’s Founder
Yasmin is the founder of Kuoraf and an experienced people and operations leader with more than 25 years of experience supporting employees, leaders, and organizations.
Throughout her career, Yasmin has held senior leadership roles in Human Resources and Operations, including serving as Chief Operating Officer and Director of HR & Operations. Her experience spans recruitment and hiring, employee relations, workplace culture, leadership support, strategic planning, organizational operations, and the many people challenges that come with running and growing a business including during times of exponential growth and during merger and aquisitions. Yasmin was featured in Douglas Magazine as a Top young Executive.
In 2024 Yasmin moved away from her full-time executive position and began consulting and working more directly with individuals and organizations. She also serves on non-profit boards. Yasmin’s passion is seeing people and workplaces thrive.
Yasmin’s vast experience in various fields that inlcude engineering, tourism, hopsitaility and insurance helped shape the idea for Kuoraf — a Vancouver Island-focused platform designed to connect people and workplaces while offering personalized career and HR support to individuals and organizations alike.
Yasmin believes career support should feel human, approachable, and useful — and that employers should be able to access experienced HR guidance without always needing a full-time HR department.
Through Kuoraf, she brings those two sides together: helping people move forward in their careers and helping organizations build stronger workplaces.
